Whether you are completely new to the instrument or looking to refine your technique, I offer structured one-to-one bagpipe tuition tailored to your level and goals.

Lessons are available in person across London and Dundee, as well as online for students further afield.
Having begun learning at the age of eight and competed at the UK and World Pipe Band Championships, I combine traditional training with practical performance experience.

Lessons are delivered in a supportive and focused environment, suitable for all ages.
Foundations & Technique
Build strong fundamentals from the beginning, including correct fingering, posture, blowing technique and control. A solid technical foundation ensures steady progress and clean, confident playing.
Reading & Musical Development
What will you learn
Learn to read pipe music fluently while developing timing, expression and musical understanding. Lessons focus not just on playing the notes, but on playing them well.
Repertoire & Performance Skills
Progress from practice chanter to full pipes, learning traditional marches, airs and performance pieces. Guidance is given on tone, tuning and performance confidence as your ability develops.
Glen Kelly at 5 years old, showing the first signs of passion.

I am a Scottish bagpiper, now based in London and performing full-time across the UK. I began learning the Great Highland bagpipes at just eight years old, and that lifelong dedication shapes every performance I give. With Scottish and Irish heritage, I have always felt closely connected to Celtic music and the traditions behind it.

With over 16 years of playing experience and more than 9 years performing professionally, I am regularly hired as a Scottish bagpiper for weddings, funerals, corporate events and private occasions. Clients tell me they don't only value the quality of my playing, but also my reliability, presentation and calm professionalism on the day.

I have competed at major championships, including the UK Pipe Band Championships and the World Pipe Band Championships, performing alongside some of the finest pipers in the world. I have also appeared on national and international television, including Salvage Hunters.

Originally from Dundee and now based in London, I perform across the South of England and East of Scotland, at venues such as Edinburgh Castle and the National Museum of Scotland. Whether I am playing at a wedding, funeral or corporate event, my aim is simple: to deliver Scottish bagpiping that feels powerful, appropriate and memorable.
